About Path of the Woods Study Group
We welcome you to the Path of the Woods study group. We are affiliated with the Ancient Order of Druids in America and are located in south central Indiana amongst the gently rolling hills and woodlands, in a small village not far from Bloomington. We offer a place of quiet, study and spiritual growth within a safe and friendly natural environment.
The Ancient Order of Druids in America(AODA) was founded in 1912 as a nature based church, an American branch of the Ancient and Archaeological Order of Druids. Individual growth and change is encouraged through awareness of the earth and oneself. Men and women 18 years and over are welcomed regardless of nationality, affiliations with other pagan groups or spiritual paths.
How we can help
We offer the comfort of a small group of people learning and practicing together in Druidry and nature related workings.
We celebrate and hold ritual for the Eight Pagan Festivals or Holy Days each year.
We offer training and study in a traditional revivalist Druid path, as well as Initiation and support during your study periods. We encourage individual directions and thoughts
and welcome all to share and explore.
We offer guidance in the Druid path, techniques in earth based meditations, individual teachings in Tai Qi, Qi Gung, and Hatha Yoga. We offer healing in herbalism, Therapeutic massage as well as energy and Qi massage.
We also offer pagan clergy ceremony for those in the community needing Handfasts, Weddings, Blessings for home or office as well as cleansings and other considerations.
We also offer Intuitive Arts in counseling, divination and healing.
